This night they meet the raven haired bard, Rivana Greywere. Who sings of a Wizard name Astabar who disappeared some time ago in a magical accident, and now his manor house is empty and haunted. Rivana went there once but something happened and she has no memory of her time there. The party decides to go to Astabar's manor and Rivana goes with them
steve works the room after bedtime, making some money and gathering some inconsequential rumours.
The next morning the group ventures forth and meets Rivana just a little way away from the Manor.
At the edge of the grounds they find 7 foot tall grasses that will not burn. In trying to cut the grass down, Julie discovers that the grass will bend away from them as they pass through.
The party proceeds 2 by 2 while holding a rope to avoid being separated. They find that the grasses lay flat in a radius of 40 feet around the manor. Runes are found carved on the frame of the door. Lil Matt makes no sense of them
While examining the door, three black rhinos appear. When Andrea tries to speak to it telepathically, she finds that there is something unnatural about them and they are preparing to attack. The rhinos finally charge, and the party goes inside to escape.
A mysterious force is banging on the first door the party comes to. BANG BANG BANG, continues until the door is tried. Something is holding it fat. Our bard passes a paper underneath, which is promptly returned with the word ass on it. Julie pushes through only to find an empty room with a skull on the ground. There is a symbol marked on the forehead
Behind the second door, they find a sitting room with a glowing liquid in a bottle. The seal it with wax and take it for later. Steve finds some money int he couch and charcoal sketches of the crescent and full moon are found on wallpaper.
